How to Find Verified B2B Emails with Seamless.AI (Step by Step)

A “verified” label tells you what a mail server said at one moment. It does not tell you what will happen when you press send.
This guide shows how to find verified B2B emails with Seamless.AI, step by step, from defining your prospect list to re-checking addresses before a campaign goes out. It also explains what “verified” means in Seamless.AI’s own documents, because that word carries a lot of weight in sales software.
This is an informed guide based on Seamless.AI’s official help articles, policies and public pages, plus regulator guidance on email rules. It is not a first-hand review, and pricing as of November 2026 is reported only where it is officially public.
Quick answer
The workflow is simple: filter a contact search, spend credits to reveal profiles, keep the higher-scoring emails, then export or import them to your CRM. Treat the verified label as a point-in-time check. Seamless.AI itself says it does not guarantee deliverability, so run a small test batch before any full send.
- Best for: small B2B teams doing regular outbound who need contact data at volume and can tolerate a sales call to get paid pricing.
- Skip if: you send a handful of emails a month, want a public self-serve price, or have no bounce and opt-out process yet.
The seven steps at a glance
- Define the prospect list and your credit budget.
- Run a contact search and narrow it with filters.
- Reveal contacts with Find or Find All.
- Understand what credits do, and what comes back.
- Filter the results by Total AI score.
- Export a CSV or import to your CRM.
- Re-check the list, send a test batch and watch bounces.
Button and page names below come from Seamless.AI’s education articles. Software labels change, so if your screen differs, trust the current help article over this post.
What “verified B2B emails” actually means on Seamless.AI
Read this before the steps, since it changes how you use everything that follows. Here is what the vendor’s own documents say.
- The marketing claim. The Email Finder page says contacts are “researched, validated, and verified with AI” and mentions a “10-step email verification process.” That page does not list the ten steps.
- The mechanical description. The Credit Back Protection article describes a “virtual email verification” that pings the recipient’s mail server to check whether the mailbox exists and can receive mail. It frames this as a quick test of whether an address “can receive email right now.”
- The score. Total AI is a 0 to 100 confidence rating on every email, described as how likely the address is to be valid, deliverable and tied to the right person. The platform FAQ says it draws on validation signals, frequency, source and success signals such as open rate.
- The status words. The CRM settings article defines a validated email as a “Valid” or “Accept All” result. The import errors article also describes an Unknown status, shown when Seamless could not fully validate an address.
“Accept All” deserves a second look. The articles reviewed here do not explain the term, but in general email usage it describes a domain whose server accepts mail for any address. A server ping on such a domain cannot prove that a specific mailbox exists, so treat these addresses as less certain than a plain Valid result.
What verification does not promise
The Credit Back Protection Program terms are direct: “Seamless does not guarantee deliverability, accuracy, response rates, or ongoing validity of any email address.” They call verification a point-in-time check. The Terms of Use add that Seamless “is not liable” for the accuracy of its data.
On numbers, the vendor’s FAQ landing page says its B2B contact data is “90% accurate” on average, and the homepage claims “1.8B+ verified business emails.” Those are Seamless.AI’s statements. The FAQ page gives no methodology for the 90% figure, and we have not checked either number independently.
A fair way to read the label: verified means an address showed good signals when it was checked. It does not mean the person still works there, that your mail will reach the inbox, or that you have the legal right to email them. No data vendor can promise deliverability, since the receiving server and your own sending reputation decide that.
Step 1: Define the prospect list before you open the tool
Credits are spent per contact, so a vague search is an expensive search. Write the target down first, in plain terms.
- Company: industry, employee size, revenue band, location.
- Person: job titles, seniority, department.
- Reason to contact: why this person, why now. If you cannot answer this, a better email address will not fix the campaign.
- Exclusions: current customers, open deals, and anyone who has already opted out of your email.
- Credit budget: how many contacts you will reveal in the first round.
An illustrative example, not a real campaign: operations managers at US logistics firms with 50 to 200 staff, capped at 100 revealed contacts for the first round. That round would cost 100 credits, which is already more than the Free license holds.
If you need help with the wider outbound routine around this list, our guide to running B2B outbound as a solo founder covers the steps around data. It uses a different tool, but the process carries over.
Step 2: Search and filter
Sign up with Seamless.AI, then follow the Contact Search article:
- Click the Search icon in the left menu and go to the Contacts Search page.
- In the Contacts Search Filters section, name your Default List or choose an existing one. Found contacts save there.
- Add filters. The article lists Company, Full Name, Industry, Titles, Seniority, Department, Location, Keywords, Employee Size, Revenue, Technologies, Job Changes, Past Company and Company Year Founded.
- Click the blue Search button, review the previews, and add or exclude filters as needed.
Seamless.AI’s own advice here is to “keep it simple” and add filters later. Previews show name, title and company, and the article places the credit charge at the Find stage, so use the previews to tighten your filters before you spend anything.
When a filter set works, click the Save Search bookmark icon, name it, and reload it later with Load. Past searches also sit in Search History.
Two other ways to search
- AI Search. The Natural Language search bar takes a plain description and applies matching filters, which you can then review through Toggle Search Filters. The article does not state a credit cost for this.
- Chrome extension. The extension lets you research people while browsing, including on LinkedIn. Each Find click uses one credit, the same as in the platform.
Step 3: Reveal contacts with Find or Find All
Revealing is where data appears and credits go. Click Find next to a contact to generate a full profile with phone numbers, emails and location. Click Find All to research every contact shown in the current results.
Watch the arithmetic on Find All. Results show 25 per view by default, with 50 as an option, and credits are charged per contact. So a single Find All at the 50 setting could use up to 50 credits, which matches the whole Free allowance. For a first run, use Find on a few contacts and look at the Total AI scores before you bulk-reveal.
Profiles appear on the search screen and in My Contacts, and they are added to your Default List. The docs reviewed here do not say whether finding a previously researched contact costs another credit, so check your balance after a small trial or ask support.
Step 4: Know what credits do
The credit and license overview lists current usage. Your remaining balance shows in the top-right corner of the platform.
| Action | Credit use, per Seamless.AI |
|---|---|
| Contact Search or Find | 1 credit per contact |
| Data Enrich | 1 credit per contact or row |
| AI Assistant | 0.2 credits per interaction or refinement |
| Autopilot | 1 credit per contact |
| AI Prompts and Campaigns | 0.2 credits per AI-generated message |
| Buyer Intent | Uses separate Intent Topics, not credits |
| License | Credits | Refresh |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 50 Universal Credits | Do not replenish |
| Basic | 250 per month | Monthly, on contract start date |
| Pro | 10,000 per month | Monthly, on contract date |
| Bulk Purchase Pool | Set amount in a shared pool | No automatic refill; more can be bought |
A legacy Pro license with 1,000 credits per day also exists, but only for eligible older accounts and it is no longer sold. The article does not say whether unused monthly credits roll over. Owners and Admins can let users draw freely from the organization pool or set per-user limits, which is worth doing on a team so one bulk reveal does not drain the balance.
Pricing: expect a sales conversation
Pricing as of November 2026: Seamless.AI does not publish dollar prices for paid plans. Its own pricing article says “there’s no fixed pricing rate” and points to seat count, credit needs and add-ons as the cost drivers. The pricing inquiry page is a demo request form. The only public price point is the free tier: 50 credits, with no credit card required according to the FAQ page.
Before you sign, ask the sales team about the things the public docs leave open: the price per seat, contract length, renewal terms, credit rollover, and whether a repeat Find is charged.
What Credit Back Protection covers
Seamless.AI returns credits for emails its verification flags as invalid, meaning the receiving server indicates the address does not exist, is disabled or cannot receive mail. The homepage describes this as automatic. It is useful, but read the limits:
- It excludes soft bounces such as full inboxes, spam filtering and temporary server errors.
- It excludes role addresses such as info@, sales@ and support@.
- It excludes addresses that were valid at verification and went inactive later.
- Returned credits have no cash value, and eligibility is at Seamless’s sole discretion under the program terms.
The program text ties eligibility to Seamless’s internal verification, so do not assume that a bounce from your own campaign earns a credit back. It also does not repay the sending reputation that a bounce can cost you.
Step 5: Filter by Total AI score
On My Contacts, open the filter funnel, select the Total AI Filter (the bullseye icon), then choose a preset range or use the slider. The score bands below are Seamless.AI’s.
| Score | Vendor label | Vendor recommendation |
|---|---|---|
| 90 to 100 | Highest Confidence | Send with confidence |
| 70 to 89 | High Confidence | Good for outreach |
| 50 to 69 | Moderate Confidence | Use with caution |
| 1 to 49 | Low Confidence | Do not use |
The article recommends a threshold of 70 or above for most outreach and 70 to 80 or higher for targeted sends or stricter deliverability needs. It also mentions roughly 50 to 70 for high-volume outreach that can tolerate failures. If your sending domain matters to your business, the cautious reading is to start high and lower the bar only if your test results support it.
Step 6: Export a CSV or import to your CRM
Option A: Download a CSV
From the CSV download article:
- Open My Contacts and apply your filters with the Filter Funnel icon.
- Click the three dots at the top right and choose Download Filtered, Download Selected or Download All.
- Under Download Type, choose Clean, Raw or Custom.
- Click Download.
The type matters. According to the article, Clean excludes invalid information, while Raw returns everything found, including invalid emails and phone numbers. Custom lets you pick fields. For outreach, Raw is the risky choice unless you plan to clean it yourself.
One thing to confirm: the pricing article lists exports and integrations under Pro plan upgrades and not under the free plan, while the CSV article states no license requirement. If export is the whole point for you, confirm it applies to your license before spending your free credits.
Option B: Import to a connected CRM
The integrations overview says available connections may include Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho, Keap, Pipedrive and others. To connect, click your initials at the bottom left, open Settings, go to Integrations and authorize the tool. Then, per the CRM import article, use the three-dot menu for Import Selected, Import Filtered or Import All. The article suggests Import Filtered as the workflow. Import All sends everything you have historically searched, so use it with care.
A few settings are worth checking before the first bulk import:
- Total AI Threshold for Contact Imports sets a minimum score for the primary business email.
- Allow Contacts/Leads to Import without a Validated Email lets unvalidated contacts through when it is on.
- Override Toggle decides whether Seamless can overwrite existing CRM values. Off fills empty fields only.
- Auto-import to CRM sends records on Find, which bypasses manual review. Set a threshold if you use it.
Also watch the warnings during import. The errors article says a yellow flag points to a possible duplicate account, a yellow exclamation point marks an Unknown email status, and a red flag means something is blocking the import, such as missing permissions or duplicate rules.
Option C: A lighter CRM
Notion is not listed on Seamless.AI’s integrations page, and the overview says Zapier “may provide an additional connection path” for unlisted tools. The simple route is CSV. Notion’s help docs explain that a CSV import creates a new database, or you can use Merge with CSV on an existing one, with headers that match property names exactly. Merges add rows and do not update existing ones, so watch for duplicates.
If you want a Notion CRM to hold those contacts, our Sales CRM for Business template review walks through a setup with Companies, Contacts, Deals and Activities databases, including a Next Follow-Up date on each contact. If you would rather stay in a spreadsheet, the Sales CRM & Lead Pipeline Tracker is a spreadsheet for Excel and Google Sheets with pipeline stages, follow-up alerts and an activity log. Both are our own products.
Step 7: Re-check, send a test batch and watch bounces
This is the step that protects your domain. Seamless.AI’s own wording supports it: verification is a point-in-time check, and the Total AI article advises refreshing older records before sending because roles and companies change.
Re-check before you send
- Look at the age of the list. Anything revealed weeks ago is a candidate for a fresh look.
- Consider enrichment. The Data Enrichment article offers contact, company, email and job change uploads at 1 credit per record. It does not state that enrichment re-verifies an email already on your list, so ask support if that is your goal. Job Changes enrichment can return updated details.
- Drop role addresses and Unknown statuses from the first send. Treat Accept All results with care.
- Screen against your suppression list of unsubscribes and objections, every time.
Run a small test batch
- Confirm your sending setup first. Our cold email deliverability checklist covers SPF, DKIM, DMARC, warm-up and volume limits, so it is not repeated here.
- Pick a small slice of the list, spread across the score range you plan to use. For illustration, 50 contacts. This is an example, not a benchmark.
- Decide your stop rule before sending, such as pausing if hard bounces pass a limit you choose. Seamless.AI’s docs reviewed here do not publish a safe bounce rate, and we will not invent one.
- Separate hard bounces, where the address does not exist, from soft bounces such as full inboxes.
- Log the Total AI score next to each result. If bounces cluster in a lower band, raise your threshold.
- Only then widen the send, in steps, and keep watching.
Your own bounce log is the only accuracy figure that truly applies to your market and your list. A vendor average, even an honest one, may not match a narrow niche.
Consent and anti-spam rules, briefly
This is general information, not legal advice. Rules vary by country and by who you are emailing, so check with a qualified adviser.
- United States (CAN-SPAM). The FTC compliance guide says “The law makes no exception for business-to-business email.” Commercial messages need accurate headers, honest subject lines, disclosure that the message is an ad, a valid postal address and a clear opt-out. Opt-outs must be honored within 10 business days.
- EU (GDPR). The European Commission says an organisation using third-party data for marketing must show it was obtained in compliance with the GDPR, must tell people at the latest at first communication, and must stop if they object. National email marketing rules can add consent requirements, so check the recipient’s country.
- UK (PECR and UK GDPR). The ICO’s B2B guidance separates corporate subscribers from sole traders and some partnerships, who need consent or the soft opt-in. It says to treat a recipient as an individual if you cannot tell. Named work emails such as firstname.surname@company.com are still personal data.
Buying access does not move this duty to the vendor. Seamless.AI’s Terms of Use say you must let individuals opt out, comply with do-not-email lists, and that you are “solely responsible” for your communications. They also limit the data to B2B purposes and prohibit spam. Its GDPR Article 14 notice describes Seamless’s own processing as a controller, relying mainly on legitimate interests. That covers Seamless’s role, not your lawful basis for your own campaign.
Who should skip Seamless.AI
- Very low-volume senders. If you email a few well-researched prospects a month, a paid data contract is hard to justify. Try the 50 free credits for a one-off need, or find addresses on company sites and through real introductions.
- Buyers who want a public price. Paid plans run through sales. If you will not take a call, this is the wrong vendor.
- Teams with no sending setup. Clean data will not rescue an unauthenticated domain. Fix that first.
- Anyone who needs a guarantee. The vendor’s terms rule one out, and so does how email works.
- EU or UK focused campaigns with no legal review. Sort out your lawful basis and notices before you buy a list.
If you are still choosing a vendor, our comparison of the best sales prospecting tools for small B2B teams sets Seamless.AI against Apollo.io and Amplemarket. If you do have regular volume and a clean setup, the free tier is a low-risk way to see how the data looks in your niche.
Frequently asked questions
Are Seamless.AI emails guaranteed to deliver?
No. Seamless.AI’s program terms say it does not guarantee deliverability, accuracy, response rates or ongoing validity. Verification is described as a point-in-time check, so test before you scale.
How many credits does it cost to find an email?
According to Seamless.AI’s credit overview, a contact search or Find uses 1 credit per contact. Find All researches every contact in the current results, so it can use up to 25 or 50 credits depending on your results setting.
Is Seamless.AI free?
There is a Free license with 50 Universal Credits that do not replenish. Paid plan prices are not published, and pricing as of November 2026 requires talking to sales.
What Total AI score should I use?
Seamless.AI recommends 70 or above for most outreach and 70 to 80 or higher for targeted sends. Those are the vendor’s suggestions, so let your own test batch confirm them.
Do I get credits back if an email bounces?
Only in limited cases. Credits return for addresses Seamless’s verification flags as invalid. Soft bounces, role addresses and addresses that went inactive after verification are excluded, and the credits have no cash value.
Can I send Seamless.AI emails into Notion?
Notion is not listed on the integrations page, so the plain route is a CSV download and Notion’s CSV import or Merge with CSV. The overview says Zapier may offer another path, which you would need to check for your setup.
Does CAN-SPAM apply to B2B cold email?
Yes, according to the FTC, which says the law makes no exception for business-to-business email. GDPR and UK rules work differently, so read the regulator guidance and take legal advice for your own case.
